BKW lodges appeal with Federal Court – definitive legal clarity required
BKW FMB Energy Ltd (BKW) has lodged an appeal with the Federal Court against the decision of the Federal Administrative Court dated 11 November 2010 upholding a ruling by the Federal Electricity Commission (ElCom) which decreed a reduction in the chargeable costs for the transmission network (Level 1).
The ElCom decree upheld by the Federal Administrative Court stipulates a reduction of around CHF 10 million in BKW's chargeable network costs (Network Level 1) for 2009. BKW is lodging the appeal in order to have the ruling reviewed and obtain definitive clarification from the Federal Court.
